These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Hyranse platform and services ("Service"), operated by Hyranse ("we", "our", or "us"), available at https://hyranse.com/.

By registering for or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

By using the Service, you represent that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age;
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements;
  • You are using the Service for legitimate professional recruitment purposes only;
  • Your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

2. Description of the Service

Hyranse is a candidate sourcing platform that enables recruiting and hiring professionals to discover and engage with potential candidates. The Service aggregates publicly available professional information to help users identify qualified candidates for open roles.

The Service is intended solely for professional recruitment use. Any other use — including but not limited to personal investigation, marketing, or data resale — is strictly prohibited.

3. Account Registration

To access the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration;
  • Keep your account credentials secure and confidential;
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account;
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

  • Use the Service for any purpose other than legitimate professional recruitment;
  • Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share access to the Service or its data with third parties;
  • Scrape, copy, or systematically download candidate data beyond your permitted usage;
  • Use the Service to harass, discriminate against, or unlawfully contact any individual;
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, disassemble, or interfere with the Service's infrastructure;
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service beyond normal use;
  • Violate any applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, when processing candidate information obtained through the Service.

5. Data Protection Obligations

When you access candidate information through the Service, you become an independent data controller in respect of that information. You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring your use of candidate data complies with applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR and EU GDPR;
  • Establishing a lawful basis for any further processing of candidate information;
  • Responding to any data subject requests from candidates you have contacted;
  • Not retaining candidate data beyond your legitimate recruitment need.

Hyranse acts as an independent controller in respect of the candidate database. We are not a data processor acting on your behalf.

6. Pricing and Payment

6.1 Subscription Plans

Access to the Service is provided on a subscription basis. Current pricing plans are described on the Hyranse pricing page. We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice.

6.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, Inc. By providing payment information, you authorise Stripe to charge your chosen payment method in accordance with your selected plan. Hyranse does not store your full payment card details.

6.3 Billing and Renewal

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on your selected plan;
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date;
  • You are responsible for cancelling your subscription prior to renewal if you do not wish to be charged.

7. Refund Policy

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee — First Purchase Only

We offer a full refund within 30 days of your first purchase, provided that no more than 5 search queries have been used under that subscription.

To be eligible for a refund, both of the following conditions must be met:

  • The refund request is submitted within 30 days of the initial purchase date; and
  • No more than 5 search queries have been used during the subscription period.
Non-Refundable Situations:
  • Renewal payments (monthly or annual);
  • Requests submitted after 30 days from the original purchase date;
  • Subscriptions where more than 5 search queries have been used;
  • Partial periods of any subscription.

To request a refund, contact us at support@hyranse.com with your account email and purchase details. Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.

8. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service — including software, design, trademarks, and content — are and remain the exclusive property of Hyranse. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service.

You retain ownership of any data or content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant Hyranse a limited licence to use it solely to provide the Service.

9. Confidentiality

You agree to keep confidential any non-public information about the Service, its technology, or its business that you access in the course of using the Service. This obligation survives termination of your account.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hyranse disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure;
  • Candidate information is complete, accurate, or up to date;
  • The Service will meet your specific recruitment requirements.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hyranse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

In no event shall our total aggregate liability to you exceed the amount paid by you to Hyranse in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hyranse and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms;
  • Your violation of any applicable law or regulation;
  • Your infringement of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement governed by these Terms at any time.

You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access to the Service until that date.

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately and without notice if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law.

Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including Sections 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, and 15) shall continue to apply.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales for any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending a notice to your registered email address.

Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.

16. General

  • Entire Agreement — These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Hyranse regarding the Service;
  • Severability — If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force;
  • No Waiver — Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision;
  • Assignment — You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights freely.
