Cookie Policy

Last updated: 1 September 2026

Effective date: 1 September 2026

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how Hyranse Ltd ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit www.hyranse.com (the "Website"). It explains what cookies are, why we use them, the legal basis for processing, your rights, and how you can control them.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the ePrivacy Directive (Directive 2002/58/EC, as amended), and other applicable data protection laws.

For broader information about how we process personal data, see our Privacy Policy.

2. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used to make websites work efficiently, improve performance, and provide reporting information. They may be set by the website you are visiting ("first-party cookies") or by third parties such as analytics or advertising providers ("third-party cookies").

In addition to cookies, we may use similar technologies such as web beacons, pixels, and local storage for the same purposes described below.

3. What is the legal basis for using cookies?

We rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR (Article 6):

Cookie category Legal basis
Strictly necessary Legitimate interest / contract (Art. 6(1)(b), (f)) — no consent required
Analytics Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — obtained via our cookie banner
Marketing Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — obtained via our cookie banner

For non-essential cookies, we obtain your prior consent before any such cookie is placed on your device, in accordance with the ePrivacy Directive. You may withdraw or change your consent at any time with future effect, as described in Section 8.

4. The cookies we use

We group cookies into the three categories below. Each cookie is identified by its name, provider, purpose, and retention period.

a) Strictly necessary cookies

These are essential for the Website to function and cannot be switched off. They are typically set in response to actions you take — such as remembering your consent choice, maintaining a secure session, or load balancing. We do not require your consent for these cookies, but we always inform you about them.

hyranse_consent Hyranse Ltd Stores your cookie preference choice 12 months
hyranse_locale Hyranse Ltd Remembers your language and regional settings 12 months

b) Analytics cookies

These help us understand how visitors interact with the Website by collecting anonymous or pseudonymous statistics. This enables us to improve performance, usability, and content.

Cookie name Provider Purpose Duration

_ga_XXXXXXXXXX Google Analytics Maintains session and campaign state 24 months
_gid Google Analytics Stores and counts page views 24 hours

c) Marketing cookies

Cookie name Provider Purpose Duration
_fbp Meta Platforms Advertising measurement and retargeting 3 months
_fbc Meta Platforms Tracks clicks on Facebook ads 3 months

5. How we use cookie data

We use the information collected by cookies to:

  • Ensure the technical operation, security, and stability of the Website (necessary);
  • Recognise you and remember your preferences, such as language (necessary / legitimate interest);
  • Understand how visitors use our services and improve the user experience (analytics, consent);
  • Measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and deliver relevant advertisements (marketing, consent).

We do not use cookies to identify you personally beyond the purposes described in this policy, and we do not sell your personal data.

6. Third-party cookies and data sharing

Some cookies are placed by third-party service providers we engage. Where we use third-party services, they may act as processors on our behalf. We list the main providers and links to their privacy policies below:

Provider Category Privacy policy
Google (Analytics, Ads) Analytics / Marketing policies.google.com/privacy
Yandex (Metrica) Analytics yandex.com/legal/confidential
Meta Platforms (Pixel) Marketing facebook.com/privacy/policy
Cloudflare Necessary cloudflare.com/privacypolicy

7. International data transfers

Some of our analytics and marketing providers process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom (for example, in the United States). We transfer personal data outside the EEA/UK only under appropriate safeguards, such as:

  • An adequacy decision adopted by the European Commission; or
  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, supplemented where required by additional measures (including, for US-based providers, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework).

A copy of the relevant safeguards is available on request from our Data Protection contact (Section 12).

8. How to control cookies — your choices

You control which cookies are stored on your device in the following ways:

Via our cookie banner. When you first visit the Website, a banner lets you choose to Accept all, Reject all, or Customise your preferences. In the preferences panel you can switch Analytics and Marketing cookies on or off individually. Strictly necessary cookies are always active and cannot be disabled.

Changing your choice later. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie settings" button available on every page in the website footer.

Via your browser. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Website from functioning correctly.

Browser How to manage cookies
Chrome Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
Firefox Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
Safari Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
Edge Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Withdrawing consent. You may withdraw your consent for analytics and marketing cookies at any time, with effect for the future. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal (GDPR Art. 7(3)).

9. How long do cookies last?

Cookies on the Website are either:

  • Session cookies — stored temporarily and deleted when you close your browser (e.g., hyranse_session_id);
  • Persistent cookies — remain on your device for a fixed period (see Section 4) or until you delete them.

You can remove persistent cookies at any time using your browser's settings.

10. Your data protection rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data (Art. 15);
  • Rectification of inaccurate personal data (Art. 16);
  • Erasure — the "right to be forgotten" (Art. 17);
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18);
  • Data portability (Art. 20);
  • Object to processing, including for direct marketing (Art. 21);
  • Withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3));
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 12. We will respond within one month, as required by GDPR Art. 12.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the technologies we use, or legal requirements. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Where required by law, we will seek your consent again.
