Hyranse uses AI in one feature: AI Candidate Search. This page explains what it does, what it does not do, and where a person makes every decision.
What the AI does
- You paste a job description.
- The AI reads the requirements (skills, experience, location, languages) and searches the same public professional profile database as our filter search.
- It compares each profile with the job description and shows a match percentage, the matched skills, and the gaps for each profile. Results are sorted by relevance.
A search usually takes 2 to 5 minutes. The match percentage is indicative only.
What the AI does not do
- It does not make hiring, rejection, or employment decisions about anyone.
- It does not decide who is contacted, and it does not send messages to candidates.
- It does not produce legal or similarly significant effects about a person based solely on automated processing within the meaning of Article 22 of the UK GDPR and EU GDPR.
- It does not use sensitive personal data; we do not intentionally process health, political, religious, or similar data.
Where the human decides
Hyranse is used before a candidate applies for a role, when a recruiter is looking for people to consider. A recruiter reviews every suggested profile and decides whether the person is relevant for a specific open role and whether to approach them. Our Acceptable Use Policy requires customers to review profiles themselves and prohibits using AI results as the sole basis for any decision about a candidate.
What customers must do
- Review each profile before acting on it.
- Contact a candidate only about a specific open role and only with a lawful basis.
- Not use the Service to discriminate against candidates on protected grounds.
Your rights as a candidate
If your profile appears in Hyranse, you can object to AI-assisted search, ask us to delete your profile, or opt out of our index through the Candidate Privacy Center or by emailing support@hyranse.com. See also our Transparency Notice and Data Sources & Lawful Basis page.
